The Retrouvaille Program consists of a weekend experience combined with six post-weekend sessions held on Sunday afternoons. It is designed to provide the tools to help put your marriage in order again. The main emphasis of the program is on communication between husband and wife. It will give you the opportunity to rediscover each other and to examine your lives together in a new and positive way. WHAT THE PROGRAM IS NOT It is not a retreat, or a sensitivity group. There are no group dynamics or group discussions on the weekend. It is not a time for hurting, but, it is a time for healing. WHOM IS IT FOR? It is for couples with troubled marriages including separated or divorced couples who want their marriages to work. DO YOU HAVE TO BE CATHOLIC? Retrouvaille is Catholic in origin, however, the program is non-denominational and all are welcome.  Couples of all faiths and those with no faith tradition are always welcome and encouraged to participate. WHAT HAPPENS IN A RETROUVAILLE PROGRAM? The Retrouvaille program is a two-phase program.  The first phase is the weekend itself.  The second phase consists of six post-sessions spread out over two to three months.  These post-sessions are critical in assisting struggling couples in healing and rebuilding a new foundation based on love, respect and communication. During the weekend phase, a series of presentations are given by a team of three couples and a priest or three couples and a minster & spouse. The team presents a technique of communication that enables you to take a good look at most areas of your relationship. After each presentation you have time in the privacy of your room to discuss the previous presentations. The post-weekend phase is as crucial to the healing of a troubled marriage as the initial weekend experience. During the six post-weekend sessions, the technique learned on the weekend is further developed and is used to explore additional areas of the marriage relationship.WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP?Thank you for your inquiry about the Retrouvaille Program, (pronounced RETRO-VI).  Many couples don't know where to turn for help when their marriage falls on hard times.  We believe Retrouvaille is the answer for many of these couples.  Countless marriages have been saved in the United States, Canada and many other countries of the world. We are currently registering for our June 7-9, 2013 weekend.To register, please follow the instructions above to register online with a major credit card or personal check.  You may also go to www.helpourmarriage.com, then select Florida for additional information.  You can also check for weekends offered in surrounding cities on other dates.  If you are unable to attend our next weekend, our next available weekend will be October 2013 in the Jacksonville area.The Weekend phase will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Jacksonville Airport in the Jacksonville Airport area.  Check-in time on Friday, June 7, 2013 by 7:00 p.m. and couples are asked to eat dinner before arriving.  The program will conclude on or before 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2013.  Dress is casual and comfortable, with layered clothing suggested.  Couples are asked to bring a snack (that does not need refrigeration) and a drink to share with the group.  All other meals for the weekend will be provided.  This is a full weekend schedule and partial attendance is not an option.  A schedule of the Post-Weekend phase of the program will be provided on Sunday of the weekend.If you and your spouse decide to register on-line, please select to pay your non-refundable $100.00 per couple registration fee + 5.00 online processing fee.  If there is a financial problem, please let us know so we can work with you.  No couple is ever denied the chance to heal and renew their marriage because of lack of funds and sponsorships are available.  A voluntary contribution to help cover the expenses of the program, i.e. rooms, meals, and materials will be requested on the weekend.  Please call for additional information.  Note that 100% of the funding for Retrouvaille comes from couples' weekend contributions and due to varying costs based on the number of couples per weekend, there is no pre-set weekend charge. There are a limited number of spaces available per weekend.  Reservations are confirmed on a "first-come, first-serve" basis.  After we receive your registration, a confirmation letter will be sent to you.  We will also make direct telephone contact with you.  We hope this information answers your questions.  Please email jacksonville@retrouvaille.org  if you need additional information or call Phil & Susan Parsley, Inquiry Couple, at 904-662-8604 for additional information.  Thank you and God Bless!
