Norman Oosterbroek and his security firm have protected the likes of Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Nelson Mandela, and Jay Z.
It’s a job he took very seriously as evidenced when he broke both legs of a man who jumped on stage at a Jay-Z show.
But after being found naked, beating up a neighbor and “ingesting an unknown substance,” and then attacking officers he was tased by police and died.
"He was highly violent, uncontrollable, and obviously wasn’t stable," The Palm Beach Post reports.
A woman living near Oosterbroek told Miami-Dade police he was standing at her back door staring at her. When her husband tried to intervene Oosterbroek broke into the home and began to beat the man.
Police confirm the 6’2, 280 pound Oosterbroek had been in drug rehab several times in a career and life that included substance abuse.
Police say toxicology reports are pending but a white powder substance was found on his body.
