Lori Hensley and her husband had a pleasant afternoon out but when they came home things weren’t as nice.
They found a man had broken into their house, and to make matters worse he was still there.
Lori said “I was mighty surprised when I look up and I see a guy sitting in a chair, in my living room.”
But it turns out Alejandro Hurtado wasn’t much of a threat at all, he was passed out.
Hurtado had collected several items to steal and had even poured himself a bowl of Trix cereal but before he left something else caught his eye.
Hurtado found the Hensley’s liquor cabinet and helped himself to several bottles of their tequila.
“That’s when we locked him in our house and called the police,” Lori told Fox 40 in Sacramento. When cops arrived they couldn’t get Hurtado to come out so they brought in the guys from SWAT.
They swarmed the house and took the bombed burglar into custody.
Hurtado is in jail and will face charges for felony burglary, breaking and entering, and resisting arrest.
No word on if he took any salt.
