“When they come across the border they say certain words and they’re allowed into the country” one border agent confirmed.
The key phrase is simple, all the immigrants have to do is claim they have a “credible fear” of Mexican drug cartels.
“We are being overwhelmed” the agent commented.
There were so many flowing into the US last weekend near San Diego that border agents had to close a processing center and move the overflow to a separate, larger area.
Over 200 were allowed across the border using that method in just a few hours.
Immigration experts call the action a huge loophole in the current border security system that will allow for giant numbers to come into the country in a very short period of time.
And even once the loophole is closed, finding those who used it will be difficult at best.
