A second player from last year’s signing class is leaving the Gators. DeVon Walker, a swing player who got minimal minutes last season, will transfer.
“DeVon has a bright future, and we hope for the best for him wherever he chooses to go,” coach Billy Donovan said in a statement released by the University Athletic Association.
Walker played in 25 of Florida’s 37 games last year. He averaged four minutes per game and totaled 20 points and 17 rebounds.
Last week, Rutgers guard Eli Carter announced he would sign with the Gators as a transfer. Shortly after that, UF point guard Braxton Ogbueze opted to leave the program.
The remaining freshmen from last year’s class are G Dillon Graham and G/F Michael Frazier II.
