If you are in town this weekend, consider checking out the largest fall regatta in the world with over 300,000 spectators. This weekend the men's crew and women's rowing teams will participate in the 49th Head of the Charles Regatta on October 19-20. The Eagles will participate in four events over the two-day event on the Charles.
On Saturday, the Club Eight will start from BU's Dewolfe boathouse at 2:04. This is the novice crew and it will be their first time racing for the Eagles. They are boat number 16, starting between Boston University and Yale Old Fellow's Club.
On Sunday, the team has two entries in the collegiate eight. The first varsity eight is looking to beat last years top 10 finish, and will be bow number 10 between Hobart and Trinity. The second varsity eight is bow number 40 between Bates and Binghamton University.
The Boston College Women's Rowing varsity team will also compete in various events throughout the weekend. On Saturday at 12:57, the Alumni Eight will race, bow number 21. At 1:39, the club four will race, bow number 4. At 2:20, the club eight will race, bow number 4. On Sunday at 3:06, the championship eight will race, bow number 22.
