Jose Fernandez, the Marlins’ standout young pitcher, died in a boating wreck early Sunday, the Miami Herald reported. Around 3 a.m., Miami-Dade Fire Rescue got a call about a possible boating accident off the coast of Miami Beach. CBS Miami reported that officials found the boat crashed into rocks and upside down. ...

Dashcam and body camera footage released in shooting of Keith Scott

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has released the dashcam and the body camera video of the encounter in which an officer fatally shot Keith Lamont Scott.

A file sent to the media Saturday also includes pictures of a handgun and marijuana that police say Scott possessed.
