State Represenative Ronald Renuart says the bottom line is House Bill 169 would make it illegal to sale an e-cigarette or similar nicotine based vaporized products to a minor.
"The bottom line is to keep the nicotine dispensing devices, which would be things like vapors and e-cigarettes out of the hands of minors."
Renuart says although they don't contain tobacco, they do have nicotine which he says can become addictive. His bill would ban the sale of these products to minors.
House Bill 169 has already passed two subcommittees and will be reviewed by one final committe before heading to the floor.
