JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A boil water advisory has been issued in St. Johns County...
Ponte Vedra Beach residents, you'll need to bring your H2O to a rolling boil for at least a minute before using it. The St. Johns County Utility Department has issued a boil water notice for Ponte Vedra Beach that they say typically lasts a minimum of two days.
It's a precautionary measure because of a water main break in the area that's impacting about 500 residences, the very same water main break that nearly swallowed up a woman's SMART car yesterday evening inside the Sawgrass Country Club.
The boil water notice is in effect until lab tests show that water is safe for drinking.
