City leaders share one common goal about the future of Jacksonville, making it more appealing and attractive to both residents and tourists.
On Monday night, city leaders and the owner of the Landing came together to brainstorm ideas on how to improve the Landing and make Jacksonville a top destination location.
The owner of the Landing Tony Sleiman tells WOKV he has plenty of goals.
"Parking, open it up, remodel, make it more appealing for people that want to come down to it."
It's a notion the CEO of VisitJax, Paul Astleford, says he couldn't be more happy about.
"This fits into the bigger picture that we're drawing of Jacksonville tomorrow."
Astleford tells us any discussion about improving downtown is worthwhile because it falls in line with the vision for Jacksonville's future.
