Detectives with the Clay County Sheriff's office are searching for a man they say robbed a Compass Bank in Orange Park just before noon.
According the Sheriff's Office, a black male walked in the front door and went to the teller to complete a transaction. He's accused of passing a note to her demanding money. The teller says the suspect pointed at his pants pocket.
He's described as being 6'2" tall, 250-275 lbs. wearing a black and blue plaid shirt with gray pants, black tennis shoes and a white ball cap. The suspect has a deep sounding voice. He was given a dye pack along with the money. Detectives say it could cause burns to his legs or hands if the money was in his hands or pockets when the dye pack exploded.
