The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has a crime alert in your neighborhood.
Police are warning residents that live on the Southside in the Baymeadows road area of a disturbing crime trend. Investigators say there have been multiple burglaries over the last three weeks. Police say burglars are cutting through screen doors and unlocking enclosure doors so they can make entry into your home via your patio.
Police say thieves have stolen purses and electronics.
