Jacksonville, Fl. — Trash pickup schedules are being altered because of Hurricane Irma’s potential approach to Northeast Florida.
Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry announced Friday that all non-essential city employees will be off on Monday, pushing functions like trash pickup back an additional day. In St. Johns County, trash pickup has been canceled for Monday and Tuesday. There will also be no yard debris pickup in St. Johns County from Monday through Friday.
