The Jacksonville Fire and Resuce Department put out a fire at an automotive repair shop on the Westside.
Fire crews responded to B.L.C. Automotive Repair around 4:34 a.m.
According to JFRD they were greeted by a lage column of smoke.
The fire has been put out, but crews are taking extra precautions in case of gas and oil.
The cause of the fire is still unknown at this time. The fire closed all lanes of the 4800 block of Blanding Boulevard for about two hours.
