Flashback to the 80’s with the Jacksonville Zoo

Jacksonville, FL. — The Jacksonville Zoo has plans for you and your family tonight starting at 6:00 PM.

The Zoo is holding their Night at the Zoo and its 80’s themed, meaning they are hoping to see a sea of side ponytails, spandex leotards, and shoulder pads.

A spokesperson for the Zoo says there will be bounce houses for the kids and drinks for the adults. There will be a costume contest for parents and children. A big hair contest is also being put on by local hairdressers. You can also expect to see some Madonna and Michael Jackson look a-likes.

"Bounce houses, animal encounters, and keeper talks keep the kiddos into it. The animals are so much more active when it starts to cool down too," says JJ Vitale from Marketing & Public Relations.

Tickets for Members are $5 for adults and $3 children.

Non-members are $10 for adults and $5 for children.

Animals will be on exhibit until 8:30 PM. The event ends at 10.
