Florida Blue hiring 600+ temporary workers

Jacksonville, FL — In preparation for the upcoming open enrollment season, Florida Blue is hiring more than 600 “contractors”.

The positions start in August and September and last through mid-December, providing telephone health plan sales and sales support. During open enrollment, contractors will work flexible eight hour shifts, with options between 8AM and midnight, all seven days a week. Pay for an “Agent” position will be $14-$16/hour, based on experience. There will also be monthly bonuses for attendance and performance.

Florida Blue will provide training and cover the expenses required for the contractor to obtain a 2-40 license, if a candidate shows “drive and aptitude to succeed in a sales role”. Ideal candidates will already have their 2-40 or 2-15 Florida state health insurance license, according to the company.
