"He's guilty as hell:" Jacksonville weighs in on Dunn trial

Witness testimony is over and we’re expecting jury deliberations to begin following closing arguments today in the Michael Dunn murder trial. Ahead of those deliberations, we’re hearing how Jacksonville residents think the trial will turn out.

"He's guilty as hell," said one man who spoke to WOKVanonymously near downtown Jacksonville. "He's full of anger and venom and he was just trying to blow some people away out of racism."

The man said he thought the whole situation could have been avoided if Dunn had just driven to the other side of the gas station parking lot if he didn't like the loud music.

"I want to see him do his time for what he did, taking lives."

Another local man who didn't want to identify himself told WOKV he doesn't think a normal person just fires 10 shots into an SUV full of teenagers and then just drives off to let the dog out.

"10 shots into a car...what are you trying to do, blow the whole car up?"

He says Dunn should be facing the death penalty for taking a life and agrees the whole situation could have been avoided.

There's not much more support for Dunn from those of you commenting on our Facebook page either. You can add to the discussion by liking us on Facebook.
