Jacksonville, FL — After two men were shot last Friday in Jacksonville Beach, police are releasing new, disturbing details about what happened.
According to the arrest report obtained by WOKV, the two victims were just sitting on a bench outside the Mission House on Shetter Avenue, when they were shot from behind. Police say one of the victims is 36-years-old; the other is 75.
The report doesn't reveal any possible motive behind the shooting, only that the suspect, 29-year-old James Moore, shot each of the victims one time and then tried to flee down Beach Boulevard.
Moore is now charged with two counts of attempted murder.
Police say the gun used in the shooting had previously been reported stolen in Jacksonville. It was recovered in some bushes off Beach Boulevard.
