One beauty salon owner tells WOKV news business is holding steady but she still has concerns about the Mathews bridge closure and its impact on her business.
Dorothy Smith is the owner of KVshon Virgin hair on Arlington Expressway. She tells WOKV news the clients who frequent her hair salon aren't at all bothered by the Mathews bridge closure.
"A lot of my clients are happy with the service. I have some loyal clients."
But she says walk-ins have declined since the closure of the Mathews bridge. Smith believes its the reason why her product sales have gone down in the past few weeks.
"It's definitely impacted the business and there is not as much traffic coming by."
She says she may have to consider running a special to bring new people in.
