Headstone for murdered Flagler mother to be unveiled

On Good Friday, the Justice Coalition will unveil the new headstone for the murdered Palm Coast mother of six.

“I think it’ll just help them know that their mother is being remembered in a very special way this Easter,” says Ann Dugger with the Justice Coalition.

Dugger says Rosado’s 16 year-old daughter Keily tried raising money for a headstone by herself, but the effort failed.  Luckily, the Southern Monument Co. of Jacksonville donated a headstone free of charge.

“Those children are going to be able to see their mother’s picture on that stone,” Dugger says.

There’s another surprise in store for the children.  Six doves will be released – one for each of them.

The headstone unveiling ceremony will take place at Craig Flagler Memorial Gardens on Old Kinds Road S at 12:00 p.m.  There will be a special presentation to Rosado’s two oldest daughters, Keily and 17 year-old Teysha.

Zuheily Rosado was murdered at a Mobil Gas Station in Palm Coast on February 21, 2013.  In September, police arrested Joseph Bova and charged him with her murder.  He’s currently being held without bond at the Flagler County Jail as he awaits trial.
