Homeowner fights back during Riverside home invasion

A homeowner in Riverside fights back against a home invasion suspect Thursday morning.

We're told the man, in his 60's, was injured in the fight inside the house on Post Street.
Our partner CBS 47/Fox 30 Action News spoke with a neighbor, Willie Johnson, who says he heard his neighbor call for help.  Johnson says he called 911 and stayed in his home.

Johnson says he learned his neighbor let Bernard Hicks  in to use the rest room, and then Hicks hit his neighbor in the face with an ashtray.

Johnson believes Hicks was looking for money.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office arrested the suspect.  The homeowner was taken to a local hospital to be check out for injuries.
