A man was hospitalized after being shot in front of his North Jacksonville home.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office was called to a home on Paris Avenue on Thursday night after reports of gunshots being heard in the area.
The victim told police he was sitting on his porch when another man walked up, fired 10 rounds at the victim and the victim's home.

The victim was hit once in the leg and was taken to the hospital as a precaution. There were other adults in the home at the time but no one else was hit.
Police say the victim doesn't know who shot him or why.
The investigation is ongoing. No other details were released.
