Jacksonville, FL — The turnaround from three wins to a deep playoff push has been fulfilling for Jaguars President Mark Lamping. But he says the biggest winners are the fans.
“They haven’t had a lot of cheer for in recent history. This has been just so fulfilling. To have the fans react the way that they have, and no one deserves it more than Jaguars fans”, Lamping told Jacksonville’s Morning News.

He was surprised by the number of fans who made the long trip to Pittsburgh, where the Jags defeated the Steelers 45-42 on Sunday.
“Jaguar fans have been unfairly maligned over the years in terms of their support for the team. It’s great to see the national spotlight back on Jacksonville for everyone to see how great of a football market Jacksonville is”, Lamping said.
When asked if there are early plans for a homecoming rally, win or lose on Sunday, Lamping said it would be too premature to talk about.
