A Jacksonville man was convicted this week of lewd and lascivious battery on a teen boy.
Prosecutors said Jason Kissick, 36, performed sexual acts on the 14-year-old in 2015. The boy's mother notified authorities when she became aware of the crime.
Kissick will be sentenced the week of Jan 9. He could spend up to 15 years in prison.
