Jacksonville, FL — The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department has rescued at least one man who was dangling on the side of a Downtown high-rise building.
This happened at the BB&T building on Forsyth. It appears scaffolding that the workers were on gave way, leading them to hang from their harnesses.
JFRD dispatch initially reported this as involving one person, but our reporter on the scene saw two workers on the side of the building, and we are working to confirm the details. JFRD’s special operations team conducted the rescue from the roof, reaching the dangling man around the 17th floor.
This is a developing story that will be updated in to the evening.
