Jacksonville, FL — It's a long road to recovery, but a St. Johns County Sheriff's Office deputy involved in a line-of-duty motorcycle crash two weeks ago is staying positive.
The Sheriff's Office says Deputy DeLeo's crash caused serious lower extremity injuries and he will have a long road to what they hope will be a full recovery.
DeLeo is expected to remain hospitalized for several more weeks and then continue his recovery in out-patient care.
