ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. - The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office says they've arrested four teenagers suspected of burglarizing vehicles in the county's Northwest District within the past several months.
After getting a tip from a suspect's family member, police then located stolen property.
Detectives later got information that led to the identity of a juvenile suspect, who was arrested in late August on unrelated charges.
David Michael Froess Jr., 17, of St. Johns, was re-arrested earlier this week. Police say information led detectives to three other suspects: Brandon Stephen Connell, 18 of St. Johns; Montgomery Sinclair McCaffrey, 19, of St. Johns; and Sean C. Gwaltney, 17, of Jacksonville.
All of the vehicles had been left unlocked before they were broken into.
The investigations are ongoing and detectives are seeking information in the cases. Anyone who has more information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (888) 277-8477.
