Jacksonville police are investigating a robbery at a Wendy's on the Southside.
It all happened at the Wendy's on Baymeadows near Philips highway on Saturday. Police say the suspect fired a warning shot into the ground to scare the employee. Investigators say he then forced an employee to fill his backpack with cash at gunpoint before he ran away.
Police say no one was injured in the robbery. Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to contact JSO at (904) 630-0500 or contact CrimeStoppers anonymously at 1-866-845-Tips. A reward of up to $3,000 is being offered for information which leads to an arrest.
