JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - We've learned the identity of the body which washed ashore on Little Talbot Island on January 9.
The body belongs to 50 year-old Patrick Denny of 552428 US-1 in Hilliard, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
His body was found by Carlos Jiminez and Freddie Davis while they were walking the shoreline, and they pulled him out and called authorities.
Denny's friend, 55 year-old Patrick Taylor, told authorities they were fishing together. He said he left Denny on the shoreline while he went to fish on the rocks.
