Loaded gun found at JIA

Jacksonville, FL — Among the 63 firearms recovered by the TSA in carry-on bags last week was a loaded gun at Jacksonville International Airport.

New numbers from the agency shows the loaded 9mm was found November 7th. There was no round in the chamber.

The TSA says 58 of the 63 guns recovered between November 6th and 12th were loaded. They also found a grenade in a checked bag at Piedmont Triad International Airport, as well as knives in carry-ons at three airports.
