Man critically injured in hit-and-run crash on Arlington Expressway

A Jacksonville man was critically injured in a hit-and-run crash Wednesday night.

The Florida Highway Patrol said Bradley Ward, 39, attempted to cross the Arlington Expressway near Cesery Blvd. around 8:17 p.m. when he was hit by a Chevrolet Impala that fled the scene.

Officers with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office later located the car involved in a parking lot near Fort Carolina Road, but not the driver.
