We are working to update the weekend murder of a Mayport man his body was found in a cab near Brentwood Park Saturday morning.
We're told residents in the area heard gunshots well after Midnight Saturday, but no one looked outside because of thunderstorms.
Several hours later Stuart Carson's body was found in his cab. Carson worked for Gator City Taxi. We have reached out to the company's management but so far haven't heard back.
Carson's wife, Kelly, posted several photos to her Facebook page Monday of the memorial where Stuart was killed.
