Michael Dunn's attorney considers new venue

Michael Dunn’s attorney is concerned about his client’s ability to get a fair trial in Duval County.

Cory Strolla told a judge today that he’s concerned about the impression recently released jailhouse letters written by Dunn will have in the community. At this point, he says he’s considering a request to change the venue.

Dunn is charged with shooting and killing Jordan Davis at a Southside gas station following a dispute over loud music.

The Judge has ordered no further information will be released moving forward without the court being notified first.

Dunn’s trial is expected to begin late January or early February.
