Mixed reviews from Jax council about convention center study

One Jacksonville City Council member supports another study to decide if a new convention center should be built, but we've learned not every council member is on board.
Councilman Richard Clark says he supports spending 60 thousand dollars of your tax dollars on another study to determine if it would be feasible to build a new convention center.
"Put in new economic parameters, look at the marketplace, see what other convention centers are doing now."

But council member Stephen Joost says he has reservations.

"I don't think anybody has even asked whether the convention business in Jacksonville, Florida is viable."
Joost says it should up to the people to decide if they want a new convention center and where they want it.
