Stephanie West says all she wants for her son is justice.

West says her son was the victim of a brutal attack on Jacksonville Beach Monday that went viral. She says her son Anthony Jones was trying to break up a fight between his friend and another man. That's when she says a fight soon ensued. She says her son is seen wearing orange shorts and getting kicked and punched multiple times with no one around to help.

"A couple of the guys hit my son from behind and when he was on the ground all you see is just kicks and them jumping on him."

West says her son's shoulder is now out of place but she's thankful he is alive. She says this is something no parent should have to endure.

"I wouldnt want this to happen to nobody kid, not only my child, nobody's child" she said tearfully Tuesday night. West says the video showing the attack is a painful reminder of what happened to her son.

"For them to be walking around and putting this mess on Facebook and Twitter."

She says the only thing she wants is justice for her son. She believes the people responsible live in Jacksonville and says its possible this attack may have been gang-related.

"I just want justice to be served and I don't want them to do this to nobody else's children."

Local businesses in the area say they were forced to shut down following the fight. Jacksonville Beach police continue to investigate the matter but so far no arrests have been made.
