A Nassau County Sheriff's Office school resource officer is facing charges of sexual battery and lewd and lascivious behavior with a minor.
The Sheriff's Office says Alan Manchester was arrested Friday. He has been suspended without pay from Yulee High School w here he works.
Police say the charges are connected to an incident that happened 10 years ago, and he wasn't working at Yulee at the time of the alleged event.
The State Attorney's Office is leading the investigation.
