While you were sleeping an elderly man is dead in a house fire and police say they suspect foul play. This morning police are searching for a suspect.
Police told us just before 7am they are looking for a suspect described as a white male, 5'6'' or 5'7'', around 120lbs. He was wearing shorts and a had a black and white back pack. He is described as being in his late teens or early 20's.
Sgt. T.K. Waters with JSO's homicide unit said the suspect was wearing a green shirt. The man taken from the house was pronounced dead at the scene after a neighbor noticed the flames coming from the home on Mimosa Drive near Emerson Street around 11 p.m. Wednesday night.
