Oak pollen counts high during spring

Spring is officially here and along with it lots of pollen.
Board certified allergy specialist Dr. Thomas Loopholey says you've likely seen pine pollen on your car or patio furniture.
"Most people are not allergic to that pollen that we see settled."
He says the invisible pollen that's in the air is what's an irritant to most people. He tells WOKV trees are in the high range and tree pollen is the predominant allergen between January and May. He says oak pollen is causing lots of people to have strong reactions. He recommends taking an anti-histamine and shutting windows at your house.
