WOKV has learned a 26 year-old woman was stuck and killed by a car on Shindler, south of 103rd Street Thursday morning.
Jacksonville Police say the woman was struck around 2am as she was walking in or near the street. She was wearing dark clothing, according to reporter Tracy Collins with our partner Action News.
The driver, a 28 year-old man, told police he didn't see the woman. Police say alcohol and speed were not factors in the crash.
