Jacksonville police are searching for a man they say was involved in a strong armed robbery at a Westside McDonald's.
A news release from JSO says an employee was getting into her car when she was attacked by an unknown black man. The suspect may have dropped a hat, which was picked up by another heavy set black man parked in a white pickup near the victim's vehicle. JSO is still trying to figure out the involvement of the pickup truck driver, if there was any.
The suspect is described as between the ages of 40 and 50 five foot eight to five foot ten and weighing 200 to 210 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark grey or black hoodie-style sweatshirt, dark-colored jeans, and white tennis shoes. A witness said he smelled strongly of cigarettes.
You're asked to call JSO or CrimeStoppers if you have information on anyone involved in this investigation.
