Jacksonville, Fl. - A fight involving two groups of men led to a shooting and a car crash along I-95 southbound Tuesday morning, according to the Jacksonville’s Sheriff’s Office.
Police said a man inside one car opened fire on a man driving another car near I-95 and Golfair Boulevard.
Two men were inside the car that the shots came from and the man who was hit was driving the other car alone, according to police.
Both cars rammed into each other several times between Golfair Boulevard and 8th Street and crashed at 8th Street.
The man who was shot was taken to UF Health with non-life threatening injures and a man in the other car was injured because of the crash, according to JSO.
No other people were injured. All three men are in police custody, but no arrests have been made.
Police will not say what started the fight.
Lanes on I-95 southbound were closed for several hours between Lem Turner Road and 8th Street, but opened again around 5:30 a.m.
