JEA recommends you flush water lines for three minutes on first use to remove any air and possible sediment.
JEA has issued a precautionary advisory for the general San Marco area after a water main break on Landon Avenue on Sunday evening.
JEA recommends that their customers should bring their water to a rolling boil for a minimum of one minute before any kind of food preparation and drinking.
JEA also recommends customers to flush their water lines for three minutes after the water returns in order to remove any air and possible sediments from the lines.
This notice will remain in effect until JEA corrects the problem and after 2 consecutive days of satisfactory bacteriological results have been obtained.
