Jacksonville — It's about keeping student athletes free from injury.
A unique partnership involving the Jacksonville Jaguars, the NFL, Florida Blue, Brooks Rehabilitation, Memorial Hospital, as well as the Jacksonville Sports Medicine Program, is looking to expand.

The partnership, known as Project 17, has already helped bring certified athletic trainers to seven Duval County high schools, but by 2018 that number will be even higher.

Full-time trainers are being added to 5 more schools in Duval, with the ultimate goal of 17 total schools by the year 2020.
