A person is dead tonight after an accident in Putnam County.
The Florida Highway Patrol says a driver was heading south about 9:45 p.m. on County Road 21 near Lyons Lake Lane in a Hyundai Azera when the vehicle left the road and hit a telephone pole.
The Hyundai caught on fire while the driver was still inside.
The driver's identification has not been revealed.
FHP does not think alcohol was a factor.
