Jacksonville, FL — Early morning temperatures Thursday fell below freezing at Jacksonville International Airport, breaking a 1988 record of 30 degrees.
Action News Jax Meteorologist Garrett Bedenbaugh says temps will remain well below average on Thursday, the average high is 74.
A light inland freeze is expected overnight into Friday, but we should not challenge any records.
And by the weekend we’ll feel temps jump back into the 70’s. Bedenbaugh says the 70’s will stick around throughout next week.
