A Gainesville man who pled guilty to shooting a Jacksonville driver while the victim’s 8-year-old daughter was in the car will spend the next 8 years in prison.
31-year-old Brad Lippincott received that sentence today, which also includes 3 years of probation, 2 years of community control and a $1,000 donation to the victim’s daughter’s education account.
The shooting happened near 103rd Street and Jammes Road in 2012. Police say it started as an argument with 33-year-old Kahron Warnke over a traffic issue and quickly escalated. Lippincott fired seven shots in to Warnke's car killing him, but not harming the girl.
