A mobile feeding bus from the Salvation Army Northeast Florida chapter is right now providing snacks and meals to those in need in Pensacola.
"The need is huge," said Jill Black, with the Salvation Army of Northeast Florida.
Black tells WOKV the mobile canteen or kitchen on wheels will go into the areas hardest hit by severe weather. The town received record rainfall earlier this week and many homes and cars remain under water. Hundreds are displaced and without a home.
Black says the mobile unit will deliver the most essential items to those in need.
"It's equipped to serve 20 thousand meals a day. It's huge."
She says they are always looking for volunteers to help out. Click here to learn more about how you can donate to the Salvation Army of Northeast Florida to help disaster victims in Pensacola.
