As Jacksonville police continue to search for whoever shot and killed four people inside a Murray Hill home Thursday night, family and friends of the victims continue to search for answers: Who could possibly have done something so terrible, and why?
"Whoever you are, please, turn yourself in," Sabrina Johnson tells our partner Action News.
Johnson's nephew, Derrick Williams, was one of the victims in the massacre and was the only one who lived in the house on Randolph St. near Cassat and Normandy where it happened. She says he leaves behind three children for whom he cared very deeply. They now will have to grow up without a father.
"His daughter is in pain. His family is in pain," says Johnson.
Gontrell Hagans was also shot and killed Thursday night. Avea Myers tells Action News she's the mother of Hagans' oldest son. She says he was a loving father to his children and he had called her hours before he was killed to finalize plans for a birthday party for his oldest son.
"These parents have to bury their children instead of the children burying their parents, and that's hard," says Myers.
Sisters Keshell and Keyonna Brown are the other two victims.
