FL soldier dies in Afghanistan

A Florida soldier is among four men who died in Afghanistan this week.

The Department of Defense today announced the deaths, all soldiers serving in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in Bagram. The soldiers died on June 18 as a result of an enemy attack on their unit.

25-year-old Sgt. Justin Johnson of Hobe Sound, FL; 21-year-old Spc. Ember M Alt of Beech Island, SC; 21-year-old Spc. Robert Ellis of Kennewick, WA; and 30-year-old Spc. William Moody or Burleson, TX are the fallen soldiers.
