As students head back to school today they'll be taking a brand new reading proficiency test.
Wolfson High School junior Jaylyn Ceasar tells our partner Action News she thinks kids should be given more time to adjust before having to take a test.
The IOWA test measures a student's reading proficiency and places kids in reading classes based on their level. The Duval County school board approved the test over the summer.
Each school has until August 30 to give the test.
